I bought my first franchise at 19, bringing Molly Maid out to the west coast of Canada. It was a great learning experience but I didn’t like all the rules of operating a franchise. Although I sold it a year later, I was now bitten by the entrepreneurial bug and very quickly realized that I was “unemployable”.
Over the past 29 years, I have been involved in partnerships, corporations, network marketing and licensing. I even started the first home pole dancing company where everyday women could learn how to pole dance in their living rooms. I sold a “pole dancing business in a box” to women all over the world! That was the same year I became a non-denominational minister. Yes, I’ve been a maverick all of my life.
In 2008 I joined a corporate team of a network marketing company as the VP of Sales and Training. I soon became their first female president. As wonderful of a privilege as it was to impact the company at such a level, I soon realized that there is far greater impact at a distributor level.
Over the past several months, I have reorganized my businesses, taken a much-needed rest and have come back to the company I was president of, as a very active Ambassador but with a much larger vision for the entire industry.
I am passionate about entrepreneurs. I am passionate about helping women. I am a social entrepreneur. I am committed to changing the financial status of women around the globe. Double the income of 100 women, then 1000 women and so on and so on and we can change the world.
I´m probably as passionate about financial abundance as I am, because I went from being happily married, earning a six-figure income (in a network marketing company) and living in a beautiful home to almost overnight being nearly bankrupt, homeless and divorced. The last several years have been the journey back to well-being, financially, spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically. Now it´s time to help others do the same.
